Last summer we organised a short break for this group of friends from Germany. They stayed in local b & b's and hotels. We took them on our buses into the Lakes and Dales and we all had a thoroughly enjoyable time.

This brings back memories of our trips out with our German friends. What a busy week, with as much crammed in as possible. Everyone worked at improving their English and I don't recall hearing much German being spoken at all, which was of course the aim of the exercise! Hopefully another visit in 2010? David G
